comprehensive,web-based solutions

Hi, my name is Carlton Rhodes and I'm the founder of Bendi Productions, Inc. I have a lovely wife and four adorable children who are the apples of my eye (though it seems like a whole bushel of apples sometimes). As for the "passions" I always speak to - Well, they (meaning my family) come first, of course, followed closely by my desire to make good technological solutions for good people. A huge percentage of my day is spent thinking "There's a better way to do that." - That's just my personality.

I opened Bendi Productions, Inc. to address a need. After nearly fifteen years in the internet, interactive and marketing industry, I became frustrated with the fact that so many small to medium-sized businesses were either spilling out huge sums of money to obtain mediocre applications to try and be competitive with the "Big Boys", or trying to do things "on the cheap" or by themselves and often ending up with poor results. Plus the fact that it was a huge waste of their time and focus. Why would you want to stop doing what it is you're so good at (baking, painting, accounting, etc...) and try to learn how to also build your website or setup an email campaign or create a database for your customers? And, even worse, I saw so many companies, regardless of their size, using way too many applications to do one thing - run their business. The more user interfaces you have to deal with, and the more fragmented your information is, the worse off you and your company will be - period.

BendiPS™ was the brainchild of this cumulative experience and "coming-of-age"-like realization. I am very proud if I can sometimes play a small part in helping all of of the talented individuals out there who, with the passion and drive to start their own companies, and the guts to get out there and show the world how it's done... make our world a better place. I would not want to live in a world where all of the croissants were mass produced in one goliath factory - Who would?

I do my best to make these companies more productive in today's business environment, and I am overjoyed when we receive praise or referrals from those individuals who have taken the plunge and are living the "Bendi" Life :)

Why Bendi...?

The word "bendi" actually means "useful" in Japanese, though it is normally spelled a little differently when written in romanization (often written "benri", but pronounced "bendi").
My concept of being productive seemed to fit perfectly to this idea of creating "useful" applications... plus I liked the ring of it. :)
